The use of the portrait as the subject is the primary focus of this group. It will feature a subject over a 4 week session the emphasis will be oils however  other mediums are welcome. There will be an attempt to use a portion of the time for critique of each others work in the belief that it will be a benefit to both the artist and those examining the work.  The studio is small so there is a limit of 4 artist.

It is a group that is inclusive of all genres of creative writing. It aims at reviving the old tradition of writers' cafes where writers meet, discuss all trends of writing and where some of the most brightest ideas can accidently spark the creation of great art and writing works. The Massachusetts Plein Air Artists are artists, including photographers, who meet weekends year round in the environs of Massachusetts to paint, draw and photograph the outdoors.
