I am looking for a few friendly folk who are interested in hands on art making. I'd like us to get together in a suitable venue to get our hands mucky, chat and share our Art. I'd happily share techniques and mediums with others who could do the same - but really it would be just as great to get together with those who'd like to play and even collaborate and share some projects.

Our group will help you learn to work with watercolours either as beginners who need plenty of hands on coaching and interesting subjects to produce lovely paintings to take home with you, or for more experienced artists who know the basics but want to learn new techniques, experimenting and being encouraged and supported to find new 'wicked' ways with watercolours. Refreshments are provided plus there is access to a useful library of reference materials to use.
There seems to be a lack of groups which get together to just draw in Peterborough. This group is intended to do just that. Meets will be at a variety of places and events (i.e city centre on sunday afternoon or a live gig on a friday night). The aim is to build on drawing skills while socialising with like minded people. Some of the art societies are a bit stuffy. I would like to start a group that has amateur artists and appreciators of art who can meet up to visit art exhibitions, galleries, museums and maybe hold art days. Perhaps a group of us could hire a studio/room or whatever. Maybe some of us could hold joint exhibitions of our work to reduce costs? Anyway, whatever interest you have in art, it would be good to hear from you :)

I am an artist and for ages have been looking to find a group focussed on conceptual art, but can't find anything so thought i would set up one myself. This group is for anyone with an interest in art or anything. You don't have to be Tracey Emin or Benjamin Buchloh, just passionate and into the alternative. I am also interested in starting collaborative projects and organizing some events, so hopefully these meet ups will set the ball rolling.

I could do a class on Tuesday/Wednesday aft and on a Saturday depending on what you would prefer. There are many skills I can teac …
