As practicing artists ourselves we saw that there was no meetup group for outdoor creative artists in and around Sydney in 2009. So this group shares fun and creative energy while working outdoors on our drawing painting and photography. We meetup every four to six weeks on a Sunday from 11 to 4pm at some amazingly beautiful and out of the way locations around Sydney. We visit galleries and always choose locations with great coffee shops. Everyone who enjoys making or looking at art is welcome.  …

… About me: I've always had a love of and interest in drawing and painting and take classes on occasion. I've always wanted to sketch and paint outside (landscapes) like the Impressionists and others in the past. I'm new to Sydney and think its one of the most beautiful areas, so why not find some other people who want to do this too.

Held during the week, these classes suit creative people with a few hours to explore their inner creativity through drawing painting mixed media in a contemporary way. From beginner to experienced all of us can contribute and learn. Classes conducted in English by experienced teachers with oportunity to learn new techniques and use new materials and share ideas.
